District 228 was officially established on July 1, 2026, following the realignment of the erstwhile District 92, with the vision of creating a stronger, more focused Toastmasters community across East Bengaluru. The district was formed to provide enhanced support to clubs, foster leadership development, and enable sustainable growth through balanced geographical alignment and effective administration.

 

Today, District 228 is home to 7 Divisions, 28 Areas, 142+ Toastmasters clubs, and 3,000+ members, representing one of the most vibrant and dynamic Toastmasters communities in Region 13. Our district serves clubs across East Bengaluru, including Whitefield, Mahadevapura, Marathahalli, Indiranagar, Domlur, CV Raman Nagar, Varthur, Kadugodi, Sarjapur, Prestige Tech Park, Carmelaram, HAL, Benson Town, and several other key localities.
